Hudson Hospital & Clinics has volunteer opportunities in more than 35 departments and programs. You will join a team of over 170 volunteers who in 2009 contributed over 14,000 volunteer hours!
As a volunteer, you will meet new people, gain new experiences and help in delivering exceptional care in a healing environment!

How can I become a volunteer?
Age: Volunteer applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
Commitment: Due to extensive prescreening and training, we respectfully ask for at least a six month commitment.
Interview: An interview will be conducted to explore talents and interests to create the most rewarding experience for you while volunteering.
Screening:
A criminal background check will be completed
General health review
Two step Mantoux is conducted to test for your exposure to tuberculosis (TB).
Blood draw is done to screen for your immunity to childhood diseases and Hepatitis B.
Hospital Training: Each volunteer must be trained in the department they will be volunteering with and be familiar with the orientation packet provided; which includes information on safety practices, privacy requirements and general policies and procedures for the hospital.
