Certified Nurse Midwife Stephanie Johnson joins Hudson Physicians in August 2010. Stephanie returns to provide care for hospital and clinic patients and was instrumental in establishing our waterbirth services. A lifelong resident of River Falls, WI, her special clinical interests are caring for women during pregnancy, labor and birth, perimonopause and adolescence. “My goal is to empower women in their health care choices,” says Stephanie. With over twenty years experience she says, “I’m very excited about coming back to my community to offer this option of care to women and their families.”
She recieved her nursing education at Inver Hills Community College, bachelor's degree in business from Northwestern College and master's degree in midwifery at the University of Minnesota.
When not busy caring for women, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching football, swimming, kayaking, knitting, gardening and reading.
