Dr. Rieser is the founder of Midwest Spine Institute. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee
and completed his spine surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California.

While in private practice in Los Angeles, Dr. Rieser was also an Associate Professor in spinal surgery at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center, an affiliate of the University of Southern California.

Dr. Rieser is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the North American Spine Society.
