Dr. Olson earned his MD degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He also completed his cardiology fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.  

Dr. Olson is a member of the Noninvasive Subsection of the St. Paul Heart Clinic. His areas of special interest are general cardiology, transesophageal echocardiography, exercise echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
