Dr. Severson graduated from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency in Internal Medicine at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Aurora Sinai in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a Board Certified Internist. Dr. Severson plays golf, enjoys the theater and travel.
Her rare free time home is spent baking and doing needlepoint projects. In her own words, "I adore older people and have wanted to work with the geriatric population since I decided on a medical career in seventh grade."
