Dr. Jacobson is a general surgeon with Hudson Physicians. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, he completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Areas of special interest include endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery and breast surgery including diagnostic breast ultrasound, hernia surgery and gynecologic surgery. He has had additional training in gynecological and laparoscopic procedures, including Ultrasound for evaluating breast disease. Dr. Jacobson is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.  He also helps teach the Advanced Trauma Life Support class for physicians at Regions and United Hospitals. His outside interests include running, biking and skiing.
