Cancer Center collaboration of area hospitals sparks interest
Already under construction, the Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin has plans to open the 12,000 square foot facility in the spring of 2011.The cancer center has peaked the interest of many. How do six area hospitals (Hudson Hospital & Clinics, Amery Regional Medical Center, Baldwin Area Medical Center, Osceola Medical Center, St. Croix Regional Medical Center, and Westfields Hospital) come together to build a state-of-the-art cancer center and what does this collaboration look like? The focus of their ambition is simple - it's about community and family.
