Osteoporosis Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment

Wednesday, September 2, Noon-1:30 p.m.

Join Kristin Severson, DO, Internal Medicine, Hudson Physicians to learn about osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis, once thought to be a natural part of aging among women, is no longer considered age or gender-dependent. It is largely preventable due to the remarkable progress in research. Exercise, nutrition and medical treatment all play an important role in preventing or delaying onset. During this seminar, Dr. Severson will discuss risks, prevention, diagnosis and treatment for osteoporosis. Participants will also be introduced to the bone densitometry scanning process.

All seminars are held at the Hudson Hospital & Clinics Conference Center. To register, contact the Health Resource Center by calling (715) 531-6250.
