Peter Nasseff, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist

Peter Nasseff, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, specializes in helping people who are experiencing relationship difficulties. He works with individuals, couples, families and teenagers. His goal is to identify unmet needs, and together develop a vision of a healthy, mutually satisfying relationship.

Using Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, he provides assessment and treatment for depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss. Studies have shown that CBT is highly effective in treating such disorders. Cognitive-Behavioral therapy addresses and teaches how to recognize and change maladaptive processes of thinking, perceptions, attitudes and beliefs.

Three times a year, he offers an eight week class on Understanding and Treating Depression. The class is open to adults 18 years of age and up. Many tools and techniques are provided to help understand and change your low mood by developing healthy thinking.
