Sometimes life experiences inspire community members to make donations to lighten the burden of others or to show support for a program they know greatly benefits society. Hudson Hospital Foundation offers many specific funding options to meet individual and family giving desires. Please thoughtfully consider a generous gift – it will help improve health care for our entire community for many decades to come.
Areas of medical support
- Breast cancer – This program supports patient education, equipment, resources and outreach events
- Cancer care – This program supports patient education, support groups, equipment, or infusion operating costs
- Cardiac rehabilitation – program operations, patient education, support groups and equipment purchases
- Heart disease– patient education, support groups, resources and program operations
Areas of general support
- Board Designated Endowment Fund – assets are invested to maintain the principal balance and utilize the interest income for operating and program support
- Unrestricted – gifts to this general fund will be distributed as needed
Areas of program support
- Birth Center Fund - This program established by the department physicians and employees will be used for equipment, education and upgraded services.
- Cancer Care Fund - This program supports patient education, support groups, equipment, or infusion operating costs
- Cardiac Rehabilitation Fund - This program supports patient education, program operations, support groups and equipment purchases.
- Healing Arts Fund – Community members and employees donate to the Healing Arts fund for purchasing art and supporting the healing arts philosophy and program.
- Heart Disease Fund - This program supports patient education, support groups, resources and program operations.
- Heart2Heart Program (Public Defibrillator Fund) – This program is a community-wide approach to save lives together. Donations increase and improve awareness, access to, and use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and CPR training in heart-related emergencies for the community.
- Hudson Hospital & Clinics Nurses Education Fund – Donations support continuing education, credit reimbursement or seminar fees for nurses.
- Ruth Lund Memorial Scholarship – This program, established by the Lund family, grants scholarships to nurses for education and professional development.
- Hudson Hospital & Clinics Employee Emergency Fund – Employees experiencing a medical emergency or crisis can apply for grants up to $500. Donations replenish the fund.
