Please note that requirements to ensure patient, guest and staff health and sefety could change as we continue to monitor the severity of the flu over the next few months:
Attention patients: If you are a patient and coming to our campus for a health care appointment with flu symptoms including fever, dry cough, headache, tiredness, sore throat, nasal congestion or body aches, please wear a mask at all times while in the building. Disposable respiratory masks and hand hygiene foam and gels are conveniently located throughout the campus.
Attention visitors & guests: If you are planning on coming to our campus to visit a patient or other reason and have flu symptoms including a fever, dry cough, headache, tiredness, sore throat, nasal congestion or body aches, please do not come to the campus for the health and safety of patients and staff; rather, stay home and take care of yourself and your family.
Effective January 12, 2010, Hudson Hospital & Clinics has lifted its visiting restrictions for children age four and under. (Research has indicated that children are most likely to carry and transmit the flu virus, putting patients and staff at higher risk).
Children free from flu and respiratory illness symptoms are welcome to visit hospital inpatients.
